Salus have been commissioned by both NHS Kent and Medway and Kent County Council to support children and young people (CYP) aged 4-19 years who have mild to moderate emotional well-being needs. Children and young people accessing the Service will be those who are ‘getting advice and signposting’ and ‘getting help’ and ‘getting further support’, in line with the definitions of the i-THRIVE mode. This will be achieved through a combination of 1-1, group-based, self-help and family based interventions.

Salus has been commissioned by Kent County Council to provide a Therapeutic Support Service for children and young people with mild to moderate emotional wellbeing needs, across Kent. We are looking for passionate, suitably qualified individuals to be part of a multi-disciplinary team where you’ll play a key role in shaping and developing an evolving service.

This groundbreaking new service will offer a ‘stepped-care’ approach, delivering scalable interventions ranging from self-help, group work and social prescribing to more targeted 1:1 clinical interventions, all tailored to developmental level, need, and family context, with consistent involvement of caregivers and schools to strengthen outcomes.

This exciting and innovative service provides child-centred, outcome-focused support for children and young people, from birth to and up to 25 years old with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), residing in safe accommodation because of domestic abuse.
