This groundbreaking new service will offer a ‘stepped-care’ approach, delivering scalable interventions ranging from self-help, group work and social prescribing to more targeted 1:1 clinical interventions, all tailored to developmental level, need, and family context, with consistent involvement of caregivers and schools to strengthen outcomes.

Salus, commissioned by NHS Kent and Medway, is seeking a Clinical Lead to provide expert leadership across the Kent Children and Young People’s Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Therapeutic Alliance (KTA). In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that services are safe, effective, and trauma-informed, while embedding clinical excellence, safeguarding, and best practice in line with national guidance. You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, commissioners, schools, and community partners to drive innovation, integration, and service improvement across Kent.

Deliver therapeutically informed 1-1, and occasional small group, support to these children and young people in a way that is accessible and meaningful to them.

This position will involve delivering structured programs to children and young people linked with the post-16 team at Virtual Schools Kent; therefore, prior experience working with children in care would be beneficial.
