Salus run youth clubs across Kent, offering safe and fun places for young people.

What is this service?

Salus youth clubs offer children and young people a safe and inviting place to build friendships, seek support, learn new skills and have fun.

Who is it for?

Young people aged between 8 to 19 years – this is broken into age range groups for example 8yrs – 12yrs and 12yrs to 18yrs. These will vary depending on the area you are in. Anyone can join.

What does it offer?

Our youth work aims to create a fun place for young people, led by young people, our service is underpinned by a clear set of values, such as:

  • Young people choosing to take part, they aren’t referred. This way any young person can take part.
  • Young people’s views of the world decide what happens at youth club.
  • Everyone is treated with tolerance and respect.
  • Young people are given the opportunity to develop their skills and learn new ones.
  • Youth club is a place to build friendships and make new friends.
  • We work with young people to give them a say in their community.

Where is it available?

The youth service operates in Maidstone, Folkestone and Hythe, Tonbridge and Malling and Tunbridge Wells.
