Sessional Youth Workers

Salus is a social enterprise established to deliver services to children and young people. We have been commissioned to deliver Youth Services in Maidstone, Shepway, Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge & Malling Districts.

We are currently seeking Sessional Youth Workers to help implement our range of centre and street-based youth services in the both areas. The role will involve working directly with young people and agencies, offering services and support with an aim to improve young people’s emotional health and well-being.

We are looking for talented individuals, experienced in working directly with young people in creative and innovative ways to achieve the best possible outcomes. The post will require energy and enthusiasm to ensure the success of this highly valued service.

Youth Worker Apprentice

Transition Support Worker for Families

Do you recognise the challenges of transition between primary and secondary school? Do you recognise the support parents may need to engage fully with their child in this process. Do you want a role that enables you to make a real difference to the lives of those young people and their families who may find it more difficult.

Do you have the professional experience and skills to work with families experiencing significant challenges. Do you have experience of working in partnership with schools other agencies to maximise the impact of your support? Do you have experience of working with young people to help them overcome barriers and achieve their aims?

If your answer is “yes!” to these questions, then we hope you may be interested to hear that we are seeking to appoint Transition Support Workers as part of the HeadStart Kent Programme. These roles offer an exciting opportunity to be part of a new and ground breaking programme that is specifically focused on the transition phase for young people.

Restorative Justice Service Administrator

Based at Compass House, Ashford, Kent

£16,000.00 (pro-rata for part-time) negotiable dependent upon experience

Part-time 16 hours per week, preferably worked over 4 or 5 days. Fixed term contract until October 2020. (Extension subject to continued funding) 

The Kent Restorative Justice Service is delivered on behalf of Kent Police and Crime Commissioner by Salus and Restorative Solutions, two of the UK’s leading providers of restorative services.

The aim of the service is to reduce the harm caused to individuals and communities because of crime, support victims’ long-term recovery, support offenders to understand the effect of their actions and restore confidence in the criminal justice system

We are currently looking for an experienced individual to provide administrative support to the Service Delivery Manager, assisting in the smooth running of the service, and taking a proactive role in relation to day-to-day functioning.

We are particularly interested in candidates that have experience of data inputting and data analysis.

The successful candidate will need to be able to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
