Salus is a social enterprise established to deliver services to children and young people.

We are currently seeking a full and part-time Youth Worker to work alongside the Senior Youth Worker in the Tonbridge & Malling and Tunbridge Wells Districts, to implement a range of centre and outreach-based youth services in the districts. The role will involve working directly with young people and supporting the Senior worker in day-to-day administration and running of sessions and projects, to offer a service of support with an aim to improve young people’s emotional health and well-being.

We are looking for a talented individual, with experience in working directly with young people in creative and innovative ways to achieve the best possible outcomes. This post will require energy and enthusiasm to ensure the success of this highly valued service.

Location: Tonbridge & Malling and Tunbridge Wells Districts
Contract Details:

  • Full-time – 37 hours per week. Mainly evenings and may include weekend work.
  • Part-time – 22 hours per week, Monday to Thursday. Mainly evenings and may include weekend work.

School Support Project Officer – A For Attendance

Do you have the professional experience and skills to work with children and young people in groups, to achieve positive and sustained change?

If your answer is “yes!” to these questions, then we hope you may be interested to hear that we are seeking to appoint a School Support Project Officer working within the A for Attendance team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to use evidence-based approaches and programmes of support to achieve maximum impact.

While your background may be in education, counselling, youth work or any other related area, we are particularly looking for a highly motivated, dynamic and talented individual, experienced at working creatively and innovatively.

The post will be worked across Kent.

37 hours (full-time) per week, term time only
30 hours (part-time) per week, term time only x 0.8 (4 days a week)

Fixed term contract until July 2022.

Sessional Youth Workers

We are currently seeking Sessional Youth Workers to help implement our range of centre and street-based youth services in the both areas. The role will involve working directly with young people and agencies, offering services and support with an aim to improve young people’s emotional health and well-being.
