 ‘Respecting Me, Respecting You’

‘Respecting Me, Respecting You’ is a service for children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse at some point in the past.

What we can offer:

  • Evidence based and tailored programmes to meet the needs of individual children and young people (delivered on a group or individual basis). Programmes may include:
    • Self-esteem
    • Feelings
    • Healthy Positive Relationships
    • Social Skills
    • Safety Planning
    • Conflict Resolution Skills
  • Information for  parents/carers to ensure they understand the programme
  • Support for children and families to access other services

Young Persons Programme

We are also able to offer a programme specifically for groups of young people. Please contact us for information and costs.

Length of delivery: 10 weeks

Number of participants: 15 (approximately)


  • To prevent young people from engaging in violent and abusive relationships both now and in the future
  • To provide an opportunity for young people to develop ways of protecting themselves from harm
  • To provide young people with the knowledge they need to achieve this.
