Family Support Worker

Do you have a professional background that gives you the knowledge to work with families for maximum impact? Do you have wide ranging and diverse skills gained through experience of working with families in challenging circumstances.

 

Most importantly, do you have the personal skills and values to be creative and resilient in engaging families, to offer practical focussed support and challenge, to recognise parents as experts and at all times, to ‘think family’.

 

If your answer is “yes!” to these three questions, then we hope you may be interested to hear that we are seeking to appoint Family Support Workers for the Salus Family Support Service; a newly commissioned service for families in need, in Kent.

 

While your background may be in social work, youth work, housing, community development or any other related area, we are particularly looking for highly motivated and talented individuals, experienced at working creatively, innovatively and respectfully to achieve change.

Intensive Mentor

Do you want a role that enables you to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people in Kent? Do you recognise the importance of emotional well-being and resilience in a child’s development?

 

Do you have the professional experience and skills to work with children and young people to achieve positive and sustained change? Do you have diverse skills that mean you can also meaningfully engage with families?

 

If your answer is “yes!” to these questions, then we hope you may be interested to hear that we are seeking to appoint Intensive Mentors as part of the HeadStart Kent Programme. These roles offer an exciting opportunity to use evidence based approaches and programmes of support to achieve maximum impact.

 

While your background may be in education, counselling, youth work or any other related area, we are particularly looking for highly motivated, dynamic and talented individuals, experienced at working creatively and innovatively to achieve change.

 

Fixed term contract for two years. Extension subject to continued funding.
