Salus have been commissioned to deliver Youth Services in Maidstone and Shepway Districts.

We are currently seeking Sessional Youth Workers to implement our range of centre and street-based youth services in Maidstone and Shepway. The role will involve working directly with young people and agencies, offering services and support with an aim to improve young people’s emotional health and well-being.

We are looking for talented individuals, experienced in working directly with young people in creative and innovative ways to achieve the best possible outcomes. The post will require energy and enthusiasm to ensure the success of this highly valued service.

Family Support Workers

Do you have what it takes to make a real difference to the lives of children, young people and their families facing multiple challenges and disadvantage?

Do you have a professional background that gives you the knowledge to work with families for maximum impact? Do you have wide ranging and diverse skills gained through experience of working with families in challenging circumstances?

Most importantly, do you have the personal skills and values to be creative and resilient in engaging families, to offer practical focused support and challenge, to recognise parents as experts and at all times, to ‘think family’.

If your answer is “yes!” to these three questions, then we hope you may be interested to hear that we are seeking to appoint Family Support Workers for the Salus Family Support Service; a newly commissioned service for families in need, in Kent.

While your background may be in social work, youth work, housing, community development or any other related area, we are particularly looking for highly motivated and talented individuals, experienced at working creatively, innovatively and respectfully to achieve change.

1 x full-time Tonbridge & Malling – Fixed term for 1 year.

Quality Assurance Officer

£20,000 - £26,000 FTE (Pro-rata for part-time)

The Salus Family Support Service provides early help and preventative support for families to become resilient and for children to have the best start in life.

The nature of the service means that our case management and record keeping needs to be excellent. We also need to be able to provide the commissioner with timely and accurate data.

Do you have experience of quality assuring case files and managing data? Do you have experience of a case management systems or other online recording? Are you able to support others to better use systems? Do you have excellent attention to detail?
If your answer is “yes!” to these four questions, then we hope you may be interested to hear that we are seeking to appoint a Quality Assurance Officer as a new role within the Family Support Service.
