School Support Project Officer

Part-time 15 hours per week (0.4fte) term time only, on a fixed term one year contract. (Extension subject to continued funding)

Salus is a social enterprise at the cutting edge of service delivery and seeks to improve social skills, educational outcomes and the emotional health and well-being of children and young people in Kent.

We are currently seeking a Project Officer to implement our range of support programmes, to identified children and young people in schools across Tunbridge Wells and the wider area.

Your role will be to work closely with schools to initially deliver highly creative youth led, positive activities and/or support children and young people to develop creative solutions to local issues. You are likely to also deliver evidence based group or individual programmes focused on improving emotional health and well-being.

We are looking for a talented individual, experienced in working directly with children and young people in creative and innovative ways to achieve the best possible outcomes. This post will require energy and enthusiasm to ensure the success of this highly valued service.

It is envisaged that the post holder will work mainly afternoons. This is subject to discussion and negotiation.
