Family Support Worker

Do you have what it takes to make a real difference to the lives of children, young people and their families facing multiple challenges and disadvantage?

Do you have a professional background that gives you the knowledge to work with families for maximum impact? Do you have wide ranging and diverse skills gained through experience of working with families in challenging circumstances.

Most importantly, do you have the personal skills and values to be creative and resilient in engaging families, to offer practical focussed support and challenge, to recognise parents as experts and at all times, to ‘think family’.

If your answer is “yes!” to these three questions, then we hope you may be interested to hear that we are seeking to appoint Family Support Workers for the Salus Family Support Service; a newly commissioned service for families in need, in Kent.

While your background may be in social work, youth work, housing, community development or any other related area, we are particularly looking for highly motivated and talented individuals, experienced at working creatively, innovatively and respectfully to achieve change.
