Restorative Approaches 3 Day Skills Based Training

Salus is offering a Restorative Approaches 3 Day Skills Based Training Course in Ashford in November, delivered by one of our RJC (Restorative Justice Council) Accredited Practitioners.

The course is designed for staff and practitioners who are wishing to increase their knowledge and skills in order to develop, implement and support a Restorative Approach when working with children and young people.

Following the 3 days, attendees will have:

  • an understanding of the principles of Restorative Justice and Restorative Approaches
  • an understanding of how to implement and embed approaches, and the benefits of doing so
  • a range of restorative skills: mediation, active listening restorative language, classroom skills, de-escalation strategies and restorative conferencing
  • a clear understanding of systems, procedures and policies
  • The course will be held on 7th, 14th and 22nd October 2015 at the Goldwyn School, Ashford.
